My Goals Report – June 2023 Update

Here is the link to last month’s goal report, which had more detail about each section.

As you know that I’ve three šŸ†Championship goals, which are as:

  • Health šŸ§‘ā€āš•ļø 
  • Work  šŸ§‘ā€šŸ­
  • Relationship šŸ«‚

Health

šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø Fix my body shape: 

As I write in the previous month’s monthly report that my reason for joining the gym is to work on my confidence and my body shape so that I can wear clothes without judging myself 

I consistently do the workout daily, I skip it during Eid for around 10 days, which is okay.

I didnā€™t focus much that much on gym, due to exams.  I didnā€™t study yet about calories, proteins  and the diet routine 

I eat a simple diet thatā€™s why my weight is stagnant at 56.6-57.6 kg 

My muscles are in shape now, I see growth in my body shape and also see growth in my confidence. 

I’m more confident about myself now. hurrah

šŸ‹ļøā€ā™‚ļøIncrease my weight and strength 

My weight is stagnant at the same place because I didnā€™t take that much diet. It is the same at 56.6-57.6kg. This is okay, the problem will be only if my weight is decreasing. If weight is stagnant that means my calories burn out is the same. 

My strength is increasing, Iā€™m passing my old limits, one step at a time. 

I do 60+ pushups daily during the warmup.

I lift 40+ on a bench press.

On the back, I stretch 35.

On legs-40+

During biceps, I lift 10-10 kg, even sometimes 12.5kg.

I increase the weight little by little. I keep in mind my disc problem and also focus on the long-run game.

šŸŒ„Morning/evening routine 

Iā€™m consistent in waking up at 5 am this month.

I woke up only 4 times in the month of June.

My goal for the year 2023 is to become a member of the 5 am club, but? Shit

Due to exams, I can able to balance my life, I break every rule even the discipline routine and focus on completing the syllabus which I did hopefully. 

Happiness

Itā€™s a relationship goal from the championship.

Itā€™s the goal of maintaining the relationship with myself, with Allah, with my family and with all my friends. 

āœļøDo more journaling

I write morning 3- pages daily. Sometimes I write it in the moringa’s first activity and sometimes I did it after breakfast and sometimes before going to bed. But most of the time I did it the first activity of the day. It gives me clarity and happiness. 

 I write 19 days out of 30 days. In the middle of the month, I break the streak of writing the morning page, with the thought that it should be the first activity of the day compulsory which is not possible for me every day. So after taking a break for 2 days, I came back with the new thought that I should do it at least for 90 days without any fixed time.

My goal is to train my mind to write non-stop 3 pages, not to write it at a fixed time of the day. Iā€™ll think about it after 90 days. 

Sometimes I also write an evening page on my laptop before going to bed, of around 300+words 

The score for morning 3 pages: 19/30

šŸ™Be more grateful

I’m using the day one app for writing the 3 things Iā€™m grateful for.

I write it before going to bed, but most of the time I forgot writing it.

Score: 15/30

šŸ—£ļøDo more chit-chat with my old friends and family.

ā€œIf your circle is small, that means you prefer quality over quantity.

I believe in this quote. I donā€™t have many friends, my circle is smallā€¦. hahaha thatā€™s why I believe in this quote. 

Most of the time I spend my time with my cousins, with whom I feel secure and find peace.

I spend most of the time during Eid with them. 

During the exam time, I met with my friends only on Sunday during the cricket match, which I never skip no matter how busy my schedule is. That is called dedication. hssss

I make the schedule of calling every family person on weekdays, I try this 1-2 times but then forgot about t. Then never did this again. 

On the occasion of Eid, I met with every family member, old friends and my all cousins.

Major project 

 itā€™s a work goal from the championship goal, which is most important.

šŸŽ“Academics 

yeah, i did it and did my best in writing the exams 

Good news is, now I cleared all my college burden of old semester supplies. My three semesters are now cleared. 

It was the exam month and during the economics paper, I became the pressure cooker as I said you before in last month’s report. I did my best in writing the all papers.

I changed my strategy again so that I can get good marks. I improved a lot my writing strategy 

The day before the economics paper, our results also came and I cleared the 3rd-semester exam the first time without getting any supply. I got low grades but still, I was Grateful for my success, which is the first time in 2 years at college, Itni Khushi, I canā€™t express in words the happiness when Yasir gave me the news of passing the exam, that time I was in the masjid and he also cleared fully, with same low grades. 

During the exam week, I was thoroughly stressed and every side of my life is sucking me. 

I remember this quote every time, “when life sucks everyone fucks”. 

I did a lot of mistakes during that time, but still, it went well and overall I gave it 8/10 grades for my efforts. 

In the last week of the exam for a paper on political science, I study only 2 days and wasted 5 days due to my mood swings. 

I wasted because I donā€™t have the mood for studying

I completed both 6th and 7th political science Ncert, apart from that I didnā€™t study anyone of them, and neither i did do anything else in my academics. 

āœļøWriting

Not doing any consistent work and also I took a break this month because I didn’t want to put some extra pressure on myself during the exam month 

 In the last week of the month, I write a little short story of 550+ words for my internship assignment. This is a big achievement for me because Itā€™s the first time I publicly put some of my work. And also all my friends read it and some of them helped me and some of them appreciated me.

It was a good experience and also I make up my mind that Iā€™ll continue writing of short story journey because I enjoyed a lot.  

Apart from that, I write only  morning pages this month and also write the blog for somedays

šŸ“–Reading 

I completed 2 unfinished books in the library during my Pomodoro breaks of studying. 

I found this strategy of reading during the break secession is quite helpful because in that break I need something apart from my studies so that my mind rests. It’s like some distraction for my mind from deep work.

One book is 5 am club and the other one is deep work. Soon Iā€™ll write summaries of these books.

I watched 2-3 new lectures on Dream Worldwide series and then it starts becoming harder and harder, so I give up on it. Will continue it soon again
